Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman of SJVN, inaugurated the double-lane steel truss bridge at the 210 MW Luhri Stage-1 Hydro Electric Project in Nirath, aimed at enhancing connectivity between Kullu and Shimla districts. Costing approximately Rs 25 crore, the 84-meter bridge is set to accelerate project activities and benefit local villages.
Sharma noted the completion of the Power House Service Bay and the arrival of essential components like draft tubes and unit pit liners. The project’s electro-mechanical works have commenced, and efforts on the power evacuation transmission line to the national grid are underway.
Encouraging the project team, contractors, and workers, Sharma emphasized the importance of maintaining dedication and collaborative efforts to ensure timely project completion.
