NBCC (India) has secured a substantial work order valued at Rs 180 crore from the Steel Authority of India (SAIL) to offer consultancy and project management (PMC) services on a deposit work basis for the Bokaro steel plant (BSL).
Under this contract, NBCC will provide comprehensive PMC solutions for upcoming infrastructure projects at BSL, including those related to the township, mines, and collieries. The specific duration for the contract is yet to be determined.
Furthermore, NBCC has entered into a four-party memorandum of understanding (MoU) in collaboration with the Ministry of Steel (MoS), Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL), and National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC) with the objective of monetizing non-core assets held by RINL in Vishakhapatnam.
Within the framework of this MoU, NBCC will serve as a technical-cum-transaction advisor, extending its support and expertise to these organizations in their monetization endeavours.
